Choose how much to import

We looked at your sheet and suggest a mode. Pick any — it also sets the app's mode, which you can change later in Settings.

Match your columns

We guessed from your column names. Check each one, and set to "Not in my sheet" where it doesn't apply.

How are the amounts laid out in your sheet?

One amount per row An Amount column, or separate Income and Expense columns. The category (if any) is written in its own column. One column per category Date · Description · Groceries · Fuel · Eating Out … — the amount sits under the category it belongs to.

Review and download

This is what XPENC will contain after the import.

Preview the first 50 transactions

Importing replaces everything in the app. Every account, transaction, category and person already in XPENC is swapped for this file's contents. XPENC saves a safety copy of your current data first, so you can undo it from Backup & Restore. Your theme and lock stay as they are.

Then, on your phone

Copy the downloaded .json file to your phone (or download it there directly).
Open XPENC → More → Backup & Restore.
Tap Import from file, pick the file, and confirm.
